Day + Night Practice - Eevee Render

Day

My goal was to create a peaceful and fresh vibe, like an early Saturday morning in spring.

  • “Simple Bedroom” models by Blendswap artist Oldtimer

  • Lighting by me

Night

My goal was to evoke the atmosphere of a late Friday afternoon, relaxing with the TV on. I aimed for the TV to feel as though it were positioned off-screen at the foot of the bed.

Spooky - Eevee Render

Angle 1

My goal was to make it seem like some sinister summoning was taking place within the foyer of the house. With the full moon casting its glow, the scene is backlit, enveloping the home in darkness. I aimed for the moonlight to gleam off the roof and for the air to feel moist and misty, achieved by enhancing the bloom effect on the street lamps.

Angle 2

Skills: Procedurally generated night sky dome using the Blender Shader Node editor.

  • "Haunted House" models by Sara Tarr, from the Academy of Animated Art's "Ready-to-Light Asset Library."

Mushroom Gal - Cycles Render

Trial 1 - Afternoon

Skills: World properties node editor, Compositing

  • “Mushroom Girl” models by Sara Tarr, from the Academy of Animated Art “Ready-to-Light Asset Library”

Hard Surface Robot - Arnold Render

Detail shots
